Per Page Six, leaked audio from the taping suggests the three-part reunion is going to be explosive, with the couple facing direct confrontations from their castmates.

Wilson, for his part, has been quietly addressing the scrutiny. On his podcast Show Me Something, just days before the reunion, co-host and WNBA star Sophie Cunningham asked how he and Batula are actually doing. His answer was candid: things are good, they’re solid, and they’re focused on each other rather than the noise around them.

Aubry Bracco just became the Sole Survivor of Survivor 50 — and she earned every bit of it. The three-time returning player defeated fellow finalists Jonathan Young and Joe Hunter in an 8-3-0 jury vote at Wednesday’s finale, capping off a landmark season that brought back 24 players from across the show’s history. Through tears, Bracco delivered the kind of winner’s speech that reminded everyone why they’ve been watching this show for 25 years.

“I’ve been waiting for this for ten years, and I couldn’t be more honored and grateful,” she said. “Thank you to everybody who loves this show. So much heart and soul goes into it, and I’m just so grateful.”

She also walked away with a $2 million prize — the biggest in Survivor history, doubled from the usual $1 million to mark the milestone season. But here’s the part nobody really wants to talk about at the champagne toast: the IRS.

For a prize this size, that means Bracco is looking at the top federal tax bracket: 37 percent. On a $2 million prize, that’s $740,000 gone before she even thinks about state taxes.

Then there’s the question of where she lives. According to Forbes, if Bracco is taxed as an Oregon resident, she’d owe roughly $640,000 in federal taxes and another $125,000 in state taxes — leaving her with just over $1 million. Cosmopolitan’s math, which places her in Los Angeles, puts state taxes at another 13 percent, or somewhere between $180,000 and $265,000, leaving her final take somewhere in the $995,000 to $1,080,000 range.

The exact number will depend on her residency and how her tax filing shakes out, but either way: she outwitted, outplayed, and outlasted 23 competitors, and she’s still clearing seven figures. Not a bad day’s work.

Season 49 Winner Knows Exactly How This Feels

Savannah Louie, who won the $1 million prize on Season 49 and returned to compete on Season 50, didn’t sugarcoat what it’s like to write that check. Speaking on the Financial Tea with Mrs. Dow Jones podcast, Louie said paying $380,000 in taxes felt like “a punch to the gut because that’s more money than I have ever made in a year, by far.”

“To sign a check over, essentially, for that high, it was unreal. It hurts,” she said.

Louie also revealed something that might surprise fans: winners don’t get paid the moment Jeff Probst reads the votes. “We have to wait until the finale airs, though, before we get that payout,” she explained. “Our finale aired in December, so I was waiting a long time, very patiently. But literally less than 24 hours after the finale aired, I see that that $1 million straight deposited it into my bank.”

For Bracco, who just watched her finale air Wednesday night, that deposit could be hitting her account as you read this.

The Season That Had Everything

Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans was built around the idea of giving fans real power — and that extended beyond just watching. The season opened with 24 returning players divided into three tribes of eight, and it delivered the kind of chaotic, emotional, strategic television the fanbase has been craving. A surprise “Blood Moon” triple elimination took out Colby Donaldson, Genevieve Mushaluk, and others in one brutal episode. Cirie Fields, one of the most beloved players in the show’s history, came agonizingly close to a final five appearance before being voted out on Day 23. Rick Devens, beloved as the host of the show’s official podcast On Fire, followed a day later.

Bracco herself has one of the more compelling arcs in Survivor lore — a runner-up on Kaôh Rōng, she returned twice more without reaching the end. Ten years of near-misses, and now she’s got the title.

The finale also featured a moment that had nothing to do with the $2 million. Grammy-nominated pop star Sia revived her fan-favorite Sia Prize for the landmark season — a tradition she started back in 2016 — and this time, fans got to vote on the recipient. They chose Cirie Fields, awarding her $100,000. Sia didn’t appear in person, but Probst’s announcement brought the house down. Fields had commented on the prize’s return on Instagram weeks earlier, writing simply: “Sia is a real one; thank you, Sia.”

Probst told Rolling Stone that Sia was enthusiastic about returning for this particular season given its fan-driven theme — and that the twist of letting fans pick the winner was actually her idea. “She said, ‘If this season is truly about the fans having a say, then the fans should choose the winner of the Sia Prize too,'” he explained.

The music ran deeper than that, too. Probst wrote and recorded an original song, “Survivor 50 Come and Get It,” at Hollywood’s A&M Studios — the same room where Joni Mitchell made Blue and Carole King made Tapestry — and performed it live with The Roots on The Tonight Show. Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and his son Jakob recorded a cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes” for the season’s promos. Country star Zac Brown contributed an “epic spearfishing” prize. The show went all out.

For Bracco, though, it all comes down to one moment: her name being called, ten years in the making. Whatever the IRS takes, they can’t take that.

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is already getting a second season — and honestly, it’s hard to argue with the numbers. NBCUniversal announced Monday that Bravo’s newest franchise addition has been renewed, with Season 1 still actively airing Sunday nights on the network.

The show, which premiered April 2, follows seven women — Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson and Jo-Ellen Tiberi — as they navigate the highs, lows, and very-everyone-knows-everyone drama of Rhode Island’s tight social scene. It’s produced by Evolution Media, the same company behind The Real Housewives of Orange County and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The Numbers Don’t Lie

The debut episode pulled 2.7 million viewers across platforms in its first seven days, making it Bravo’s biggest multiplatform series premiere since 2024 and the most-watched Bravo original premiere in Peacock history. That’s not a small deal for an 11th spinoff of a franchise that launched back in 2006 with The Real Housewives of Orange County.

It’s only gotten stronger from there. Episode 4 saw an 11% audience bump on Peacock compared to the three-episode average — a sign that viewers aren’t just sampling and moving on. The show has also generated 60 million impressions and 33.5 million video views across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and X since it was first announced at BravoCon 2025. The internet is very much here for it.

The show is now on track to become Bravo’s second biggest series across all platforms, trailing only The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Why Rhode Island Works

Andy Cohen, who executive produces alongside Lucilla D’Agostino, Joseph Ferraro, Jen McClure-Metz, Barry Poznick, Bianca Barnes-Williams and James Brangert, has been vocal about what makes this particular setting click. Speaking at the Deadline Reality TV Summit, he put it simply: “Here’s the thing about Rhodies, you don’t f*ck with them.”

But beyond the attitude, Cohen says the geography itself is doing a lot of creative work. “I think one of the reasons Rhode Island is so incredible, is that the women’s self-awareness about being on the show is incredibly low. They are uniquely themselves and taking us along for the ride. That’s so important. There have been a lot of times where a housewife will join and all of a sudden you’re like, ‘Oh, man, she’s kind of studied this’. That’s what we try to avoid.”

He also pointed to the community’s scale as a natural engine for drama. “It’s the perfect setting, creatively and from a story point of view,” he said. “It’s aspirational and beautiful, which is a big part of these shows.”

The cast agrees. Iaconetti — who fans will recognize from her years on The Bachelor and its spinoffs — told the Boston Globe that Rhode Island’s size is exactly what makes it work as a franchise location. “I think Rhode Island works for the show because everything [is] just a one degree of separation from everyone, so everybody knows each other,” she said. “[In Boston], not everybody knows each other, not everybody even cares to know each other. In Rhode Island, everybody cares to know about everything.”

DiMare, who grew up near the state’s border, described the place with the kind of affection that makes good TV. “It’s literally unlike anywhere else you’ll ever be in your whole life,” she told the Globe. “I grew up 15 minutes away from the border, and even sometimes I feel like I’m on a different planet.”

A Big Week for Bravo Renewals

RHORI‘s pickup is part of a much larger renewal wave from Bravo, which is set to air over 500 hours of original programming this year. Also getting the green light: Summer House for Season 11, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City for Season 7, Below Deck Down Under for Season 5, Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition and The Valley: Persian Style for Season 2, Southern Charm for Season 12, Married to Medicine for Season 13, and Top Chef for Season 24.

They join a slate that already includes renewals for Below Deck, The Real Housewives of Potomac, The Real Housewives of New York City, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Rachel Smith, EVP of Unscripted Content at Bravo and Peacock, summed up the network’s philosophy at the Reality TV Summit: “What we’ve managed to do is create a universe and a community where people feel seen, and it’s part of their identity. Our job is to just keep feeding that and keep those franchises alive and fresh.”

Bravo hasn’t announced when Season 2 of RHORI will premiere, or which cast members will return. For now, Season 1 continues Sundays on Bravo — and if the ratings keep climbing, the conversation about who’s back and who’s out is going to get very Rhode Island very fast.

So You Think You Can Dance is officially off the floor. Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn confirmed Sunday that the network has no intention of bringing back the beloved dance competition, effectively ending a run that stretched nearly two decades and helped launch some of the most recognizable names in the dance world.

“Obviously, it’s a very important show in the history of Fox,” Thorn told reporters during a pre-Upfronts press call. “But right now, there are no plans to order another season. We’ve had conversations about it, but nothing formal.”

The show last aired in spring 2024 — its 18th season — hosted by the ever-reliable Cat Deeley, with JoJo Siwa, Allison Holker, and Maksim Chmerkovskiy on the judging panel. That season introduced documentary-style contestant profiles and a $100,000 grand prize, part of an effort to reimagine the format for a new era. It wasn’t enough to secure a future.

A Summer Staple That Lost Its Footing

For 15 years, SYTYCD was appointment television. From its 2005 debut through Season 16 in 2019, it was Fox’s defining summer franchise — the show that put contemporary, hip-hop, ballroom, and Broadway dance in front of millions of viewers every week. Then COVID hit, the show went dark for two years, and things were never quite the same.

When it returned for Season 17 in 2022, it came back with a new judging lineup: JoJo Siwa, the late Stephen “tWitch” Boss, and Matthew Morrison. But Morrison abruptly exited mid-season after failing to follow “competition production protocols,” with Leah Remini stepping in to finish out the season. The show skipped 2023 entirely.

Season 18 brought its own complications before a single episode aired. Nigel Lythgoe — co-creator of the series and a fixture on the judging panel for most of its run — was originally set to return, but stepped down after two lawsuits accused him of sexual assault, including one filed by American Idol’s Paula Abdul. JoJo Siwa was brought in as his replacement. (Lythgoe’s lawsuit was ultimately settled in December 2024.)

Holker’s presence that season carried its own emotional weight — she had been married to tWitch, who died by suicide in December 2022, just months after Season 17 wrapped.

What Fox Is Moving Forward With Instead

Fox isn’t stepping back from unscripted television — far from it. The network’s 2026–27 lineup is loaded, with more than 15 reality and competition series returning, including The Masked Singer, Hell’s Kitchen, Next Level Chef, LEGO Masters, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and The Floor, among others. A new series called Marriage Market — following singles whose family members attempt to find them a spouse — has also been ordered.

SYTYCD, produced by Sony Pictures Television’s 19 Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions, simply didn’t make that list.

The show was executive produced by showrunner Daniel Martin alongside series co-creator Nigel Lythgoe, Barry Adelman, Eli Holzman, and Aaron Saidman.

For fans who grew up watching the show crown legends like Season 2 winner Benji Schwimmer or watching Twitch himself rise from contestant to beloved judge, the news stings. SYTYCD wasn’t just a competition — it was a cultural moment, a show that treated dance as the art form it is. Twenty years later, the stage has gone dark. And for now, at least, no one at Fox is planning to turn the lights back on.
