  • Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have split roughly a year after getting together, sources confirm.
  • The breakup comes just five months after they welcomed daughter Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson on December 12, 2025.
  • Insiders say Davidson’s demanding work travel schedule put a strain on the relationship post-baby.
  • Co-parenting Scottie is now described as the former couple’s “top priority.”
  • Signs of trouble had been brewing for weeks, including Hewitt’s solo Mother’s Day post and a DeuxMoi blind item.

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are done — at least romantically. The comedian and the model have officially split, just five months after welcoming their daughter Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson into the world, multiple sources confirm.

According to insiders who spoke to the Sun, the relationship couldn’t survive the pressures of new parenthood — specifically, Davidson’s relentless work schedule. “Pete has been traveling so much for work, but Elsie was craving more support from him at home after their daughter was born,” one source said. “It was very hard for him because, obviously, he has to work to make money.”

A separate source confirmed the split happened recently and said both Davidson, 32, and Hewitt, 30, are keeping their focus squarely on their baby girl. “They are just focusing 100% on Scottie,” the insider said. “Working out the best co-parenting solution is their top priority.”

A Relationship That Moved Fast — and a Baby Who Brought It All Into Focus

Davidson and Hewitt’s relationship was a whirlwind from the jump. They were first spotted together in March 2025, caught packing on the PDA in Palm Beach, Florida. Page Six reported at the time that the Saturday Night Live alum was “very happy” to be with someone “very different from” his long list of high-profile exes — a lineup that’s included Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, and Emily Ratajkowski, among others.

By July 2025, the couple announced they were expecting. Hewitt made the reveal in characteristically candid fashion, captioning a pregnancy carousel on Instagram with: “welp now everyone knows we had sex.” The post included footage from their ultrasound appointment alongside a string of PDA photos.

They celebrated with a bunny-themed baby shower — complete with a very public kiss — before welcoming Scottie Rose on December 12, 2025. “our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025,” Hewitt wrote in the birth announcement. The name carried real weight: Scottie’s middle name, Rose, was chosen as a tribute to Davidson’s late father, firefighter Scott Davidson, who died in the September 11 attacks. Davidson later got a tattoo of Scottie’s name near his ear.

The Warning Signs Were There

The cracks started showing publicly in the weeks before the official confirmation. Earlier this month, DeuxMoi posted a blind item suggesting the two had already called it quits — and gossip circles ran with it. Then came Mother’s Day.

Hewitt marked her first Mother’s Day with a touching tribute to Scottie on Instagram, writing: “We’re all here because of a mother’s sacrifice to make herself your first home. I got to be Scottie’s ❣️ Greatest honor of my life. Happy Mother’s Day.” Davidson was nowhere in the post — and notably, he was across the country in Los Angeles, attending Netflix’s The Roast of Kevin Hart, where jokes about his dating history and his very public history with Kanye West were very much part of the evening’s entertainment.

The optics didn’t go unnoticed. TMZ had already reported that the pair had been quietly trying to work through difficulties in their relationship, with sources saying they were figuring things out privately. A source also told Page Six earlier this month that the couple was “navigating relationship struggles” and that it was “unclear” where things would land.

Now we know.

The two had been splitting time between Brooklyn and upstate New York as they prepared for parenthood — a chapter that’s now shifted into something different, but no less important. Whatever comes next for Davidson and Hewitt, little Scottie Rose is the center of it.
