Tristan Thompson Says Khloé Kardashian ‘Forced’ Him to Get a Vasectomy — and He’s Signed Over Their Frozen Embryos to Her
Tristan Thompson revealed on Khloé Kardashian’s podcast that he got a vasectomy after she issued him an ultimatum — and that he’s signed over their two frozen embryos to her. ‘No more kids unless it’s coming from Khloé’s embryos.’

- Tristan Thompson appeared on Khloé Kardashian’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast on May 28 and revealed he got a vasectomy after Kardashian issued him an “ultimatum” — he admitted he was initially “stubborn” and “hardheaded” about it but has since concluded: “Sometimes you have to get forced into the right decision”
- Thompson has signed over the couple’s two frozen embryos to Kardashian, who confirmed: “You signed them over to me anyway, so I legally own them” — Thompson added he wants “no more kids” unless they come from Khloé’s embryos
- Kardashian revealed they also saved Thompson’s sperm in case he marries someone in the future who wants children: “What if you get married and your wife doesn’t have kids, and you wanna do that?” Thompson’s response: “I’m not laying down on that table again”
- Thompson co-parents daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 3, with Kardashian, and also has son Prince, 9, with Jordan Craig and son Theo, 4, with Maralee Nichols — the last of whom came to light during the 2021 paternity scandal that ended the couple’s final reconciliation
- Kardashian also addressed her own post-split state: “I sleep at night. That’s it… I don’t need to be good for another adult. I’m good for my children”
Tristan Thompson has had a vasectomy — and he’s crediting, or perhaps blaming, Khloé Kardashian for it. The former NBA player appeared on his ex’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast Thursday, where the two covered the kind of ground that most exes only discuss in therapy, if ever.
When Kardashian asked whether he sees more kids in his future, Thompson gave her an answer that doubled as a confession. “I think I signed off for two embryos,” he said. “So, I mean, if I do have more kids, it’d be coming from you. I already have enough baby moms. Don’t want no more.”
Kardashian didn’t let the opening pass. “And who helped you fix that decision? That was me. Tristan may have had a little ultimatum from me,” per Elite Daily. Thompson acknowledged he’d been resistant at first — “I’ve been a little hardheaded at times” — but has landed somewhere more philosophical: “Sometimes you have to get forced into the right decision.”
The Embryos, the Sperm, and the Fine Print
The conversation went further into the logistics than most podcast appearances tend to. Thompson confirmed he has signed over the couple’s two frozen embryos to Kardashian, making her their legal owner. “No more kids, unless it’s coming from Khloé’s embryos,” he said, and Kardashian confirmed the arrangement: “You signed them over to me anyway, so I legally own them.”
But Kardashian had also planned ahead for him. “We saved sperm,” she said, per Page Six, “because I said, ‘What if you get married and your wife doesn’t have kids, and you wanna do that? So we did that. Because you could also reverse it.’” Thompson’s position on that last option was emphatic: “No. I’m not laying down on that table again.”
He did offer some reassurance about the experience — the procedure was quick, around 15 minutes, and he was watching the 2021 NBA Finals with Kardashian just a few days later. “My buddy,” he said, offering a fist bump.
Thompson has four children: son Prince, 9, with Jordan Craig; daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 3, with Kardashian; and son Theo, 4, with Maralee Nichols — whose paternity suit, filed in 2021 while Thompson and Kardashian were back together, ended their relationship for good. Kardashian was already expecting Tatum via surrogate when the story broke.
As for where Kardashian is now — she seemed at peace with it. “My face is never puffy,” she said on a previous episode of the podcast. “I sleep at night. That’s it… I don’t need to be good for another adult. I’m good for my children.”
