  • Tom Brady made a surprise appearance at Netflix’s The Roast of Kevin Hart on Sunday, May 10 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
  • Brady returned fire on Hart two years after Hart hosted Brady’s own brutal 2024 Netflix roast.
  • Draymond Green sat on the dais and got roasted by Brady, The Rock, Pete Davidson, Jeff Ross, Shane Gillis and more.
  • Brady hit on Hart’s wife Eniko, made a dig at Hart’s 2017 affair, and called Cowboys fans bandwagoners — all in one cameo.
  • Green has a big offseason ahead, with a potential opt-out from his Golden State Warriors contract on the table.

Tom Brady showed up to Kevin Hart’s Netflix roast on Sunday night wearing all black and carrying a child-sized New York Knicks jersey — and he absolutely did not come to play nice.

Two years after Hart served as the gleefully merciless host of Netflix’s The Greatest Roast of All Time: The Roast of Tom Brady, the retired quarterback made a surprise appearance at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California for The Roast of Kevin Hart — part of the Netflix Is a Joke Fest 2026 — and delivered what might be the best cameo of the entire roast era so far.

Hart had set the stage himself. Before Brady walked out, the comedian was onstage telling the crowd he was going to be a way better sport than Brady was in 2024. “Tom is a bitch,” Hart declared. “Tom sat there the whole time with the fucking white man’s face. He was a fucking bitch. I ain’t no bitch.”

Then Brady strolled out from backstage.

“Jesus, do you ever shut the fuck up?” Brady said, cutting Hart off mid-sentence. “Have you even left the Forum, or have you just been here screaming into that mic the last two years waiting for daddy to come home? Well, unlike your real dad, I actually showed up.”

He then handed Hart the miniature Knicks jersey. “That’s newborn size,” Brady said. “It fits you.” He called the comedian a “fucking hobbit” for good measure.

Brady wasn’t done. He went after Hart’s legacy, his roast lineup, his Eagles fandom, and — in the most talked-about moment of the night — his wife.

Brady Goes After Hart’s Affair, His Eagles Fandom, and His Wife

“I’m a busy man, but I do have a few words for you before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas,” Brady said onstage. “Oh, wait, I’m talking about affairs in Las Vegas. Was that off? Not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas? I think I broke another rule. Fuck it. I talked about it.”

The joke was a direct callback to Hart’s 2017 scandal, when he cheated on his then-pregnant wife Eniko while in Las Vegas — something Hart has since publicly acknowledged. Brady, who holds a minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, knew exactly what he was doing.

He also went after Hart’s love of the Philadelphia Eagles, landing a double jab that got the crowd going. “It looks like we actually have some real Eagles fans here. Not like Kevin, who only shows up for the big games when the Eagles are playing well. You know, Kev, we actually have a name for those people. They’re called Cowboys fans.”

Brady went 7-0 against Dallas in the regular season during his career, so that one landed with full authority behind it.

Then he turned his attention to the roast panel itself — Shane Gillis, Chelsea Handler, Draymond Green, Sheryl Underwood, Big Jay Oakerson — and dismissed them entirely. “Who are these people and how did they get here? I thought they shut down Spirit Airlines.”

And then came the moment that made Hart visibly squirm. Brady spotted Eniko Hart in the audience. “Kevin, you took a lot of shots at my family in the roast. But I’m too classy to go after your beautiful wife. Or am I?” He looked right at her. “What’s up, girl?”

Hart yelled “Cut it out!” from his seat.

Brady walked off the stage with one final line: “Payback’s a bitch — and so are you, Kevin Hart.”

Draymond Green Got His Own Roasting Too

Brady wasn’t the only one with material on Draymond Green. The Golden State Warriors forward sat on the dais for the entire evening as part of the roast panel, which meant he spent the night absorbing jokes from basically everyone in the building.

Brady got the first shot in: “Draymond Green is here. For now. He’ll probably get thrown out in the next 10 minutes. You know we’re not roasting Steve Kerr, right?”

Kevin Hart kept it simple and surgical: “Draymond’s only here because he’s not in the NBA Playoffs.”

The Rock went a different direction entirely. “Of all the cool-ass Black names you could have, that is the laziest fucking Black name I’ve ever heard. Because all you did was put a D in front of Raymond.”

Jeff Ross went for the jugular on the Steph Curry dynamic: “Steph Curry couldn’t make it tonight, but he did carry Draymond Green all the way here.”

Pete Davidson asked: “Why do you look blacker than usual? Is it because you got burnt by the Suns?”

Shane Gillis had two good ones. First: “Draymond Green is the first player to make four All-Star teams for just setting picks.” Then the one that really cut: “Draymond Green has four NBA championships the way Ringo Starr has 11 number one albums.”

Tony Hinchcliffe went personal: “He has paid $4 million in fines. Did you name your daughter Cash because you plan on losing her anyway?”

By all accounts, Green took it well — though fans online joked they were half-expecting him to lose his cool. He reportedly fired back with a burn at Hart involving his own three-point shooting, which is very on-brand.

A Star-Studded Night at the Kia Forum

The show was hosted by Shane Gillis, with the full roast panel including Chelsea Handler, Pete Davidson, Jeff Ross, Tony Hinchcliffe, Lizzo, Na’im Lynn, Regina Hall, Big Jay Oakerson, Sheryl Underwood and Green. In the audience: Jennifer Lopez, John Stamos, Machine Gun Kelly, Seth Green, Tracee Ellis Ross and Jay Shetty.

Brady was noticeably more relaxed than he looked during his own 2024 roast, where he spent the evening absorbing jokes about his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, his crypto losses, and his relationship with trainer Alex Guerrero. Nikki Glaser had one of the night’s sharpest lines that evening: “Tom also lost $30 million in crypto. Tom, how did you fall for that? Even Gronk was like, ‘Me know that not real money!’”

Bill Belichick was also at the 2024 roast and gave as good as he got. “It was hard to butt heads with Tom because he was so far up Alex Guerrero’s ass,” Belichick said. Brady, in turn, got to dig into his former coach: “Everybody asks me which ring is my favorite. I used to say, ‘The next one.’ But now that I’m retired, my favorite ring is the camera that caught Coach Belichick slinking out of that poor girl’s house at 6 a.m.”

Sunday night was a different Brady — looser, sharper, clearly having fun. He’s been building his media presence since retiring, and between his Fox Sports role and his Raiders ownership stake, he’s found his footing in this next chapter. Sunday confirmed it.

As for Green, he’s got a big summer ahead regardless of how the roast went. The Warriors missed the playoffs this season, and Green could opt out of his contract and hit free agency — or sign an extension now that Steve Kerr has returned as head coach. Either way, the four-time champion gave the crowd a good laugh and walked out with his reputation intact.

Which, given the company on that stage, is probably the best anyone can hope for.
