Danielle Olivera is officially entering her mama era. The Summer House alum announced on Friday, May 15, that she’s pregnant and expecting her first child with boyfriend Eoin Heavey — and the Bravo universe could not be more excited for them.

“Baby Heavey on the way 🐣✨🥹,” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post, sharing a series of sweet photos taken outside in front of a beautiful landscape. In them, Eoin stands behind a glowing Danielle, his hands cradling her bump. It’s the kind of announcement that makes you put your phone down for a second.

The comments filled up fast. Lindsay Hubbard — Danielle’s former Summer House bestie and soon-to-be co-star on the upcoming spinoff — wrote, “Congrats!! Best blessing in the world!” Fellow cast member Ciara Miller left a string of crying emojis alongside her congratulations. Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Ashley Boalch Darby chimed in with “Congratulations beauty!!! ❤️❤️❤️,” and Southern Charm and Southern Hospitality star Leva Bonaparte added an enthusiastic “Omg congrats!!!!” Olivia Flowers also made sure to show love in the comments.

One particularly sweet note came from someone tagged as Uncle Stephen, who wrote in the comments: “Congratulations!!! Best parents already!! Can’t wait to be Uncle Stephen!!”

Who Is Eoin Heavey?

If you’re not already familiar with Eoin, you’re about to be. The Irish entrepreneur is the founder and CEO of Maitre, a hotel management app he describes as a solution to help hoteliers “take the pain out of daily operations.” It’s not his first rodeo in the hospitality world — before launching Maitre, he founded, ran, and eventually sold Greenparc, a hotel management and staffing business that worked with major names like Hilton Hotels, the Aman Group, and Casa Cipriani.

He’s been building in this space for about a decade, and by his own account, the timing of Maitre’s launch has made life both exciting and a little chaotic. “I’ve been busy with that after selling my first business,” he told Bravo. “So it’s exciting times and kind of stressful and busy times.”

A Friends-to-Lovers Story Years in the Making

Danielle and Eoin’s relationship didn’t come out of nowhere — it just took a while to get where it was always going. The two actually crossed paths years ago when they both relocated to New York after college, moving in overlapping social circles without ever quite connecting romantically.

“We met a long time ago,” Eoin explained in an interview with Bravo earlier this year. “We both moved to New York around the same time, kind of after college, and we would have overlapped a little bit in regards to friend groups or parties back then. And we did meet back then.”

Life took them in different directions — Eoin spent time living in Miami before eventually moving back to New York. That’s when things clicked. They reconnected, and within months of dating, they’d already moved in together.

“We’re navigating that,” Danielle laughed about cohabitating. “Cleaning out closets. Mostly me trying to get rid of stuff ’cause I have a lot of things… But yeah, basically we’re just trying to hang out, do our day-to-day stuff. Work. Play. We travel a lot, so that’s been nice.”

Despite only being official for about a year, both of them describe the relationship as feeling far more settled than the timeline suggests. “It feels like it’s going on five to 10 years together,” Danielle said. “Which is a great feeling.”

From Summer House to In the City

Danielle spent seven seasons on Summer House before stepping back ahead of Season 9 in June 2024. At the time, she called it a “heartbreaking decision” that “didn’t come without a tremendous amount of thought.”

“Ultimately, I just need to trust my gut,” she wrote to her followers when she announced the departure. “If I can’t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full time capacity.”

Trusting her gut turned out to be the right call. She’s now pregnant, in love, and heading into a new chapter on Bravo’s upcoming spinoff In the City — which premieres Tuesday, May 19 — alongside Eoin, Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, and Amanda Batula.

Bravo’s official logline for the couple doesn’t shy away from the drama ahead: Danielle is “madly in love with Eoin Heavey, and their whirlwind romance is moving at lightning speed.” But with the demands of building a startup and Danielle’s complicated history with Lindsay playing out on camera, the network promises some real pressure. “As skepticism from the group surrounds them, they’re quickly finding out if they can handle the mounting pressure,” the description reads.

Baby Heavey apparently decided not to wait for the season finale.
