On Friday, May 15, DeuxMoi posted photos of the 30-year-old model and the 28-year-old Wuthering Heights actor at Nourish Hanalei, a family-run farm on the island of Kaua’i, Hawaii. In one image, Kendall — dressed in black sweats, a gray tank top, a baseball cap, flip-flops, and sunglasses — strolls up to the counter. In another, Jacob, keeping it equally low-key in a gray long-sleeve and light-washed jeans, leans against a jeep on the property. Fans who crossed paths with the two on the island didn’t hold back: they were “so cute together,” multiple people told DeuxMoi.

One tipster added a little more color: “My boyfriend and I were in Kauai this weekend and saw Jacob and Kendall driving around the north shore on Sunday in that Jeep! They had the windows down and seemed to be enjoying themselves.”

During their few days on the island, the pair were also spotted getting coffee, stopping by a wine shop, and staying at the North Shore Preserve Resort — the same development group behind Montana’s exclusive Yellowstone Club. After their getaway, they were spotted back in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 14, heading to the private members club Living Room with Kendall’s friend Harry Hudson. A busy week, to say the least.

The public chapter of this story began at Coachella, where multiple sources told DeuxMoi that Kendall and Jacob were “enjoying each other’s company” — and then some. A tipster claimed they were making out at Justin Bieber’s afterparty during Weekend One, a detail that spread fast.

But according to a Daily Mail source, the real story started well before the festival. “They were an item as far back as early February, so it’s been a while,” the insider said. “It helps that they have both been in Los Angeles a lot for the past couple of months — it has really given them time to bond.”

People confirmed the general timeline, with a source saying the two have “been hanging out and getting to know each other the last couple months.” And Page Six reported that Kendall was “a little hesitant at first just because of the friendship” — the two have known each other for years and run in the same circles. But that dynamic has “definitely shifted recently,” the insider added.

So who gets the credit — or the blame, depending on your feelings about all this? That would be Kylie Jenner.

According to the Daily Mail’s source, Kylie spent a lot of time around Jacob during awards season, when both he and her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet were racking up nominations — Jacob for Frankenstein, Timothée for Marty Supreme.
