Angelina Pivarnick is going to be a mom. The Jersey Shore star made one of the most emotional announcements of the show’s entire run during the May 14 episode of Jersey Shore Family Reunion — and it wasn’t planned, it wasn’t through a donor, and it genuinely caught her off guard.

Standing in a bathroom with castmate Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola by her side, Angelina held up a positive pregnancy test and could barely believe what she was looking at. “There’s no way that it just happened naturally,” she said, visibly stunned. “There’s no sperm donor now!”

She was so shocked, she took a second test just to be sure.

In a confessional, Angelina let the reality sink in. “I did not think I was able to get pregnant,” she said. “But wow, I’m… pregnant. This could be a great thing. This could be my fairy tale, my path, my baby.”

Sammi, who welcomed her own son Vincent with husband Justin May just months ago, was overcome with emotion. “I got chills,” she told Angelina. “I’m gonna cry for you. I knew it. I literally have goosebumps!”

A Journey That’s Been Playing Out All Season

The pregnancy revelation didn’t come out of nowhere — at least not for viewers who’ve been watching Season 9 unfold. During the premiere just one week earlier, Angelina had opened up to Sammi and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi about her deep desire to become a mother, even as her romantic life hadn’t cooperated. She mentioned having a “vial of sperm” in her refrigerator and was actively considering IVF. (She later clarified via Instagram Stories that some of what she said was “intended in jest” and that comments about being with multiple men “do not reflect my real life.”)

So when the natural pregnancy test came back positive — during, of all things, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife Lauren’s daughter Luna’s first birthday party — the moment hit differently. Mike was later seen struggling to keep the secret to himself.

It’s also worth knowing that Angelina suffered a miscarriage back in 2011, which makes this moment carry even more weight. She turns 40 next month.

“We’re Having a Baby”

After the test results sank in, Angelina called the father — identified on the show only as “John Doe-Nor,” a playful nod to the sperm donor route she had been considering. His face and voice aren’t shown on camera.

“So I have some news for you,” she told him. “I am officially, definitely pregnant — we’re having a baby!”

After the episode aired, she took to X to confirm it for fans: “I’m pregnant !!!! #jsfamilyvacation.” In a follow-up post, she added, “Guys secrets out !!! I’m pregnant 🙂 Thankful for @SammiSweetheart for being by my side when I found out.”

There is some curiosity swirling around the timeline — the episode is believed to have been filmed in March 2025, and Angelina has yet to share bump photos or any updates about the birth. Fans are watching her social media closely.

The Last One Standing — Almost

For longtime Jersey Shore fans, this moment closes a chapter. Angelina and Vinny Guadagnino were the last two cast members without children — and now it’s just Vinny.

Vinny wasted no time on X after the episode aired, quipping that Angelina’s baby is “not mine” — a callback to a memorable 2023 episode where Angelina jokingly told him to “just jerk off in a freaking cup and give it to” her. He is not the father. He remains, as the Cheat Sheet noted, the sole cast member who has yet to have children.

The rest of the crew has been building their families for years. Snooki has three kids with Jionni LaValle. Jwoww has two with ex Roger Matthews. Deena Cortese has two sons. Mike Sorrentino has three children with Lauren. Sammi just had her son Vincent. Even Ronnie Ortiz-Magro became a dad back in 2018.

Angelina’s road to this moment has been anything but smooth — a marriage to Chris Larangeira that ended in divorce, an engagement to Vinny Tortorella that fell apart earlier this year, and years of fertility questions. But standing in that bathroom, positive test in hand, she said it best herself: “This could be my fairy tale.”
