Bethenny Frankel Hard-Launches Romance With Shane Campbell

Bethenny Frankel is officially off the market — and she made sure everyone knew it. The 55-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum posted a photo Saturday of herself and new boyfriend Shane Campbell sharing a kiss under a glittering disco ball, both wearing roller skates, and the caption did not leave any room for interpretation: “If a launch 🚀 is hard this is a diamond… 💎”

Campbell, a Miami-based investment banker and senior managing director at FTI Capital Advisors, LLC, had been linked to Frankel for several weeks before she made things official on social. The Skinnygirl mogul relocated to South Florida, and the two connected there — a detail that makes the Miami roller rink moment feel very much on brand.

The Bravoverse turned out in full force for the comments section. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga cheered her on with “Launch it baby !!! ONE LIFE!” Mob Wives alum Renee Graziano added “We have lift off 🔥🔥❤️❤️,” and Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi kept it simple with a string of heart-eye emojis. The support was immediate and enthusiastic — the kind that makes it clear this one feels different to the people who know her.

Their First Public Outing Together

The hard launch follows their first public appearance together at the 2026 Global Champions Arabians Tour in Miami Beach on April 10, where an eyewitness described the new couple as “glued together from the moment they stepped into the VIP area” of the horse event. They “stayed close from the early evening into the night — laughing, whispering and appearing completely wrapped up in each other,” the source said. Frankel made sure to mix and mingle with other guests, but her date was clearly her priority.

Shortly after that outing, a source close to Frankel told Page Six that she was “the happiest she’s ever been and is fully in her intentional dating era.” That phrase — intentional dating — says a lot coming from someone who has been through as much as Frankel has.

The Road That Led Here

Frankel’s romantic history has been anything but easy. She was briefly married to Peter Sussman in the late ’90s, and her second marriage — to Jason Hoppy, which Bravo cameras documented in Bethenny Getting Married — produced her daughter Bryn, now 15, but ended in a divorce filing in 2013 that spiraled into nearly a decade of legal warfare. It wasn’t resolved until January 2021.

During a December 2025 appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast with host Alex Cooper, Frankel opened up about just how devastating those years were. “I have seen my mother slit her wrists. I have lived my whole life chasing her into bathrooms, trying to catch her throwing up. I’ve been around guns, the mafia, the race track. I’ve been through everything,” she said. “I have seen everything. Nothing compares to what my divorce was for 10 years.”

“It was so traumatic. It was 10 years of my life. I lost hair. I thought I would never survive it. I didn’t want to. I had to because of my daughter. I literally thought I’ll never be happy again.”

She described getting through it the only way she could: “I treated it like a marathon, and I went one mile at a time, and I checked every box.” Hoppy has denied any wrongdoing.

After the divorce, RHONY viewers got glimpses of her on-and-off romance with Dennis Shields, a close friend turned partner whose death in August 2018 — at age 51, from a suspected drug overdose — hit Frankel hard. She has continued to honor his memory publicly in the years since.

Which is all to say: a disco ball, roller skates, and a diamond launch feels like it was earned.
