Apple Martin is having a moment — and Chloé is making sure everyone knows it. The 21-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin has landed the brand’s dreamy “Chloé à la Plage” pre-fall 2026 campaign, shot by photographer David Sims against a sun-soaked, surrealist backdrop of sky-blue seascapes and magnified shells. The collection drops in Chloé boutiques and online starting May 12th, 2026.
Creative director Chemena Kamali — the German designer who took over from Gabriela Hearst in 2023 and has since given the storied French house a full creative renaissance — made the vision clear in a press release. “This year, Chloé à la Plage is an ode to a surreal summer fantasy,” Kamali said. “It’s about that dreamlike state and the poetry of summer. Apple, with her radiance and timeless beauty, draws us into this feeling in the most natural way.”
The images, captured by Sims, lean hard into that fantasy. In one striking shot, Martin poses before an oversized seashell in a clear nod to Sandro Botticelli’s Birth of Venus. In others, she sniffs flowers, takes a bite of citrus, and pouts on the floor with a Chloé bag tucked under her arm — all while wearing the house’s signature flowy silhouettes, broderie anglaise blouses, airy dresses, and a standout swimsuit printed with a cockatoo perched on pink hibiscus flowers. Raffia handbags and jelly mules complete the look.
A Chloé Girl in Good Company
With this campaign, Martin joins a very select group. Kamali’s Chloé has previously tapped Kendall Jenner, Kaia Gerber, Bella Hadid, and Rianne van Rompaey as campaign faces — and it was Claudia Schiffer who fronted the very first Chloé à la Plage campaign just last year. Martin stepping into that lineage at 21 says something about the direction Kamali is taking the house.
Fashion forum reactions, predictably, were all over the place. “Gorgeous campaign, and I’m not even a fan of Apple Martin,” wrote one theFashionSpot forum member. “This, by far, is the absolute best I’ve seen her look! I love the old-school Chloé vibes, the bronzed skin, the beauty styling, the mood, the photography. It’s all just working so beautifully for a summer campaign.” Others were less convinced — “I like the direction, but the casting is horrible,” wrote another — which, honestly, is pretty standard territory for any rising name in fashion.
More Than Just a Famous Last Name
Martin has been quietly building a real résumé. She made her society debut at the prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris in 2024, and has since booked campaigns for Self-Portrait and GapStudio — the Gap campaign notably shot alongside her mother, Gwyneth Paltrow. Chloé is her biggest solo outing yet, and by any measure, she’s earned it.
What makes it all the more impressive: she’s doing it while reportedly studying English, law, history, and society at Vanderbilt University. Modeling for Chloé and keeping up with a double major at a top-tier university before you can legally order a glass of wine in most of the world? That’s a schedule.
The Chloé à la Plage 2026 collection will also be available at selected summer resort destinations throughout the season — exactly the kind of sun-drenched setting these images were made for.
