Dak Prescott Spotted With Ex’s Bridesmaid at PBR Event

Just two months after calling off his engagement to Sarah Jane Ramos, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was spotted Friday night at the Pro Bull Riders World Finals in Fort Worth, Texas — and the woman by his side has a very complicated connection to his recent past. Her name is Caitlin Rance, and she was supposed to be one of Ramos’ bridesmaids at the Italy wedding that never happened.

According to multiple eyewitnesses who spoke to Page Six, Prescott and Rance weren’t exactly keeping their distance. The two were seen holding hands and behaving like a couple throughout the evening, even while surrounded by a group that included several Cowboys players. After the PBR event wrapped, the group reportedly moved on to a nearby concert — and sources say Prescott and Rance left together at the end of the night.

Prescott’s denial, though, was immediate and direct. When TMZ called Rance to ask about the rumors, she handed the phone straight to Dak. “He told us they’re not dating… the two have been friends for years, and there’s nothing going on between them — end of story,” the outlet reported. Rance and Prescott both separately denied to Page Six that things are anything more than platonic.

The Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson was also at the PBR event — PBR posted a photo on their Instagram thanking both NFL stars for coming out to support the event — though no women appeared in that particular shot.

A Friendship That Goes Back to Mississippi State

The Prescott-Rance connection isn’t new. The two attended Mississippi State University together and have maintained a friendship for years. When Ramos came into the picture, Rance grew close to her as well — close enough to be chosen as one of her bridesmaids and to join the couple on their joint bachelor/bachelorette trip to the Bahamas in March. Sources have been clear that Rance is not believed to have had any inappropriate involvement with Prescott during his relationship with Ramos.

How the Engagement Ended

Prescott and Ramos had been planning a wedding in Lake Como, Italy, set for April 10, 2026 — a celebration that 250 guests had already been invited to attend. During the Bahamas getaway, Page Six reported that Ramos discovered Prescott had allegedly been using private social media accounts to send inappropriate messages to multiple women and former partners throughout their relationship. According to sources, it wasn’t the first time she’d caught him — he’d reportedly been found using burner accounts on multiple occasions over the course of their two years together. That was the last straw.

The couple sent a joint email to their guests shortly after. “It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers,” the message read.

The two share two young daughters — Margaret Jane, 2, and Aurora Rayne, 11 months — and managed to avoid a courtroom confrontation in April when they reached a temporary custody agreement in the final hours before a scheduled hearing. The specific terms weren’t made public.

Sarah Jane’s Not-So-Subtle Response

Ramos hasn’t said a word publicly about the Prescott-Rance sighting. But on the same day the story broke, she posted something to her Instagram story that felt like it said plenty. She shared a screenshot of a song called “Firm Friends” from Drake’s new album Iceman, captioning it “Scorpio king 🤝🏾.”

The song is about friendships that faded after betrayal — and the timing, posted the exact same day TMZ’s report went live, felt like anything but a coincidence to people paying attention.

Prescott, 32, is heading into his 11th NFL season and the second year of a four-year, $240 million contract extension he signed at the start of the 2024 campaign. His mansion in Prosper, Texas, is reportedly still under construction. Life, apparently, goes on.

Whether Prescott and Rance are truly just old college friends catching a rodeo together or something more is unfolding, only they know for certain. But for Ramos — who is raising two toddlers while processing a broken engagement — watching someone from her own bridal party step into the spotlight alongside her ex is a particular kind of sting that no denial can fully smooth over.
