Snooki Says Wendy Williams Used Beer to Out Her Pregnancy

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has a long memory — and she just shared one of her most memorable (and uncomfortable) TV moments. The Jersey Shore star is claiming that Wendy Williams once tried to use a bottle of beer as a live, on-air pregnancy test back in 2012, when Snooki was quietly expecting her first child.

Snooki, 38, opened up about the incident on Tuesday’s episode of Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe, where she was joined by her friend Joey Camasta. It was Camasta who brought it up first — “Remember when she made you drink when you were pregnant?” — and Snooki didn’t hesitate. “She did,” she said plainly.

“She heard there was a rumor that I was pregnant,” Snooki explained. “She brought out beer for me and Jenni [Farley] and goes, ‘Well, let’s see if you’re pregnant!’”

Snooki called the moment “so crazy” — but she wasn’t rattled. She put the bottle to her lips, made it look convincing for the cameras, and never took a single sip. Smart. Williams, apparently satisfied with the performance, announced to her audience: “So you’re not pregnant! That was a pregnancy setup.” Except it absolutely was a setup — and Snooki had just beaten her at her own game.

“She Was Intimidating, For Sure”

Snooki didn’t hold back when it came to describing what it was like to be in Williams’ orbit. “She was intimidating, for sure,” she said on the podcast. That tracks — Williams built her career on catching guests off guard, and the beer maneuver was exactly the kind of ambush she was known for.

In footage from the 2012 appearance, you can actually see it play out: Snooki brings the bottle toward her mouth, takes what looks like a sip, and Williams declares victory. It’s one of those TV moments that feels almost quaint now but was genuinely tense at the time — Snooki was protecting a pregnancy she wasn’t ready to share with the world.

She gave birth to her son Lorenzo that August. He’s now 13. She and her husband Jionni LaValle, who married in November 2014, have since added daughter Giovanna, 11, and son Angelo, 6, to their family.

Snooki had been a guest on The Wendy Williams Show multiple times over the years, racking up plenty of memorable moments — including, apparently, the time she revealed on air that she and Jionni conceived their daughter while he was driving. So the beer incident was just one chapter in a longer, chaotic story.

Where Both Women Are Now

The Wendy Williams Show ended in 2022, and Williams herself is currently navigating a conservatorship that has kept her largely out of the public eye. TMZ’s Harvey Levin has said publicly he doesn’t believe the conservatorship is necessary — a situation that remains ongoing.

Snooki, meanwhile, is dealing with something far more personal. She announced in February that she had been diagnosed with Stage 1 cervical cancer, and in April she confirmed she would be undergoing a hysterectomy as part of her treatment. “I’m not great with pain, so thinking about removing an organ is scary,” she told People. “That’s a part of being a woman and even though I’m done having kids, the thought of not being able to really upset me. It messes with you a little bit.”

As for whether she’d ever sit down with Williams again if the opportunity arose? Based on everything she said on that podcast, it sounds like Snooki would rather keep her secrets — and her beer — to herself.
