Olivia Culpo Is Pregnant With Baby No. 2

Olivia Culpo got the best birthday gift she could have asked for — and she made sure everyone knew it. The model and former Miss Universe announced on Instagram Friday, May 8, that she and San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey are expecting their second child together. “Best birthday gift ❤️ Baby #2 coming soon 🥹,” she wrote in the caption, turning her 34th birthday into a full-on family celebration.

The announcement post was everything fans could have hoped for. Culpo and McCaffrey, 29, sat together on a white picnic blanket in a sun-drenched, hilly landscape, dressed in matching white while holding their 10-month-old daughter Colette. Their dog, Oliver Sprinkles, was right there too — sitting beside a basket of apples and a series of ultrasound images, because of course he was. Other photos showed Culpo in a long white dress, cradling her growing bump, and the couple sharing a kiss.

She also had some fun with the reveal on her Instagram Story, telling followers she had been “hiding a special birthday present.” And in a nod to her own timeline, Culpo posed in the same maternity dress she wore for her 33rd birthday post last year — a side-by-side comparison of two bumps, one year apart.

McCaffrey was quick to join in, sharing the post to his own Story with a message that said everything: “Happy birthday to the best wife and mom on the planet. I love you.”

Fans and fellow celebrities flooded the comments with love. Influencer Sofia Grainge wrote “AH YAY!!” while Lauren Kyle added, “so exciting!!” The post spread fast, and it’s not hard to see why — the whole thing felt genuinely warm and unguarded.

A Family That Keeps Growing

The couple welcomed Colette Annalise McCaffrey in July 2025, announcing the birth with a joint Instagram post. Culpo described childbirth at the time as “the scariest and most rewarding of all experiences” — a phrase that pretty much captures how she’s talked about motherhood ever since.

Just days before the pregnancy reveal, on May 6, Culpo had shared a “Life Lately” photo dump giving fans a peek into their world: baby Colette snoozing on her chest, McCaffrey splashing in the pool with his daughter, the three of them in matching all-white outfits. It felt like a family already in full bloom — and now it’s about to get a little bigger.

And on May 5, she shared a TikTok that hit differently in retrospect — a compilation of clips from her postpartum period, starting with footage of her in tears and moving into quieter, softer moments with Colette. “Postpartum is the hardest thing I’ve ever done… and somehow the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Both can exist,” she wrote over the video.

She’s been honest about the adjustment from the beginning. During an appearance on The Squeeze podcast in November 2025, Culpo opened up about the fear of losing professional momentum after having a child. “There’s totally a shift,” she said. “Whether or not you want there to be or not, you have somebody that’s physically dependent on you. So I’m not going to sugarcoat it. Yeah, it’s scary.”

But she’s also been clear that scary doesn’t mean bad. Motherhood has “been so fun,” she’s said — and if the birthday announcement is any indication, she’s leaning all the way in for round two.
