She also reportedly lit a cigarette near the door — inside the restaurant — and had to be asked by staff, through her companion, to put it out.

Before the plea, Spears had voluntarily checked into Borden Cottage, a highly exclusive rehabilitation center on a 14-acre estate in Camden, Maine — a facility TMZ described as offering individualized clinical and holistic treatment, private suites, and chef-prepared meals, with a minimum 45-day stay costing up to $140,000. She left after less than three weeks. Us Weekly confirmed her departure from the facility on April 30.

In a since-deleted Instagram post on Mother’s Day weekend, Spears offered a rare window into her headspace. “Went to the pet store with my kids and look at what a beautiful baby snake this is,” she wrote, before reflecting: “I still have to learn how to be kind to myself and the way I speak to myself… It’s a never ending journey and sometimes I just stop, look up and say wow God I think that was you and smile on!!!!”
