Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Packed London Date Night

- Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce spent several days in London in early May, skipping the Met Gala for a string of date nights.

- Swift wore two show-stopping looks across the nights — a Zimmermann floral corset dress and an all-black Toteme leather coat over Fleur du Mal lace.
- The couple dined with cinematographer Rina Yang, who has collaborated with Swift on multiple music videos.
- With their July 3 wedding reportedly on the horizon, Travis Kelce has said he “can’t wait” for the big day.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been saying a very enthusiastic hello to London. The engaged couple — who quietly slipped across the pond during Met Gala week — packed two nights’ worth of dinners, theater, and royalty-studded birthday parties into a London trip that had fans doing double takes at every restaurant door.
Their May 7 evening alone was a full itinerary. It started at Gymkhana, the two Michelin-starred Indian restaurant in Mayfair, where Swift and Kelce sat down for an hour-and-a-half dinner with British cinematographer Rina Yang — who has shot Swift’s videos for “Anti-Hero,” “Bejeweled,” “Lavender Haze,” and “All Too Well: The Short Film,” and is also the director of photography on Mother Mary. Swift has previously called Yang “brilliant” and “incredible” when discussing their projects together.
For that dinner, Swift wore a Zimmermann Luna corset midi dress — a black floral number with a bustier-style bodice — layered under a sleek, longline black tailored jacket. She carried a mint green JW Anderson Loafer woven leather top-handle bag and stepped out in Jimmy Choo Azie leather sandals. Her jewelry included her one-of-a-kind Larkspur & Hawk Posy pendant earrings — rose-cut diamonds inspired by 17th-century English embroidery, the same pair she wore to Karen Elson’s 2024 wedding — and, of course, her custom engagement ring, which has been making regular public appearances since its red carpet debut last month. Kelce matched her energy in a gray Louis Vuitton logo suit with a black T-shirt underneath and a single sparkling necklace.
After dinner, the group headed to the Harold Pinter Theatre, where Sadie Sink is making her West End debut as Juliet opposite Noah Jupe in Romeo & Juliet. Sink, who starred alongside Dylan O’Brien in Swift’s celebrated “All Too Well” short film, has been on a remarkable run — fresh off the final season of Stranger Things and a Broadway turn in John Proctor is the Villain. Fans inside the theater caught Swift and Kelce on their feet, giving the cast a full standing ovation.

They weren’t the only high-profile couple to make the pilgrimage to see Sink on stage. Tom Holland and Zendaya attended a few weeks earlier — Sink is set to join them both in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, hitting theaters July 31. Apparently, this production has become the date night of choice for anyone who’s ever worked with Sadie Sink.
Royals, Delevingnes, and an After-Party at 77 London
The night wasn’t close to over. From the theater, Swift and Kelce made their way to The Hart for Poppy Delevingne’s 40th birthday party — and the guest list was something else. Cara Delevingne (a longtime Swift friend and former squad staple) was there, along with Lily James, Georgia May Jagger, Alexa Chung, Baz Luhrmann, Isla Fisher, and Nicky Hilton. Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice both made rare public appearances — notably, it was one of Eugenie’s first outings since she and husband Jack Brooksbank confirmed earlier that week that they’re expecting another baby. Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark also attended. The party eventually moved to an after-party at 77 London.
Throughout the entire night, Kelce and Swift were photographed holding hands — at the restaurant, leaving the theater, arriving at the party. It’s the kind of easy, unguarded public moment the couple doesn’t offer often, and fans noticed.
Night Two: All Black Everything
The following evening, May 8, the couple was back out — this time at Gordon Ramsay’s Lucky Cat in Bishopsgate. Swift arrived in a completely different register: an all-black, leather-and-lace look that felt more downtown than garden party. She wore Fleur du Mal’s Juliet Lace Silk Skirt — partially sheer, retailing at $298 — with a matching lingerie-style Staud Evangeline Silk Top, all under Toteme’s $4,000 Slim Leather Coat in black. Her shoes were Celine Ava Sandals in lambskin with gold hardware ($1,050), and she carried a Rabanne 1969 Leather Shoulder Bag. A vintage Chanel crystal necklace and her engagement ring completed the look. Her hair was swept into a soft updo, and the signature red lip was firmly in place.
Kelce matched her in head-to-toe black — loose pants, a long-sleeve button-up, checkered loafers, and shades. Two nights, two completely coordinated looks. These two are nothing if not consistent.
A Wedding on the Horizon
All of this is happening against the backdrop of a wedding that feels increasingly imminent. Swift and Kelce got engaged in August 2025, announcing it in a joint Instagram post with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” Their nuptials are reportedly set for July 3 in New York City, per Page Six.
On the May 6 episode of his New Heights podcast, Kelce sat down with two-time Masters champion Rory McIlroy, who described the singular feeling of having everyone you love in one room on your wedding day. Kelce’s response was simple and immediate.
“I can’t wait,” he said, smiling.
Earlier on the podcast, he’d also let slip that Swift has been quietly expanding his horizons in other ways. “I’m trying to act like more of a man when I’m around her and eat foods I haven’t tried before,” he said — which, given the Gymkhana dinner, tracks perfectly.
The London trip also marks something of a return to public life for the couple, who have spent much of the year keeping a lower profile as wedding planning takes over. Their last big public appearance together was the iHeartRadio Awards, where Swift took home a suite of awards that made her the show’s most decorated artist ever. Before that, Swift was spotted out for dinner with her father Scott Swift and friend Ashley Avignone in what observers noted was a “something blue” Staud dress — and on another occasion, she wore an ivory silk maxi skirt from Meshki that had everyone making very pointed Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy comparisons.
But London, for now, has their full attention. And if two nights of coordinated outfits, standing ovations, and royal birthday parties is how they’re spending the lead-up to July 3 — it’s going to be a very good summer.
